National Suicide Awareness Day

Ever put someone down, judged someone, laughed at someone with your mates or discriminated them for looking/acting different?
Imagine you in their shoes.
You're insecure, get dirty looks every day for how you dress and people are adding to it. You go out and buy 'normal' clothes feeling like you can't be yourself. This makes you unhappy and makes you feel as if you're living a lie. You're alread

y unsure about your weight and feel intimidated by those around you because of how thin they are. A group of popular people point and laugh at you because they know you're awkward from school. You feel hurt, like you haven't tried hard enough to 'fit in'. You get called fat and ugly behind your back and it prompts you to lose weight. You try an extreme diet and with every pound you lose you feel fatter. Your parents worry but you won't tell them what's going on. You're at least 110lbs but you feel 200.You begin listening to alternative bands which lyrics you can relate to right now. The people at school still tease you; "emo" they say, "weirdo" they call you. You listen to them. You feel worthless, you take a blade to your flesh and relieve your sorrows through the blood that pours. Someone notices your cuts in the changing rooms and shouts "attention seeker", "emo", "freak". You're now in a vicious circle of cutting and feeling guilty about cutting then cutting again to relieve guilt. It seems that people like to target you for anything you do, any move you make. You can't take it any more. You're too 'fat', 'strange' and 'worthless' for anybody to possibly care about you. You can't eat what you want, wear what you want or listen to what you want without somebody making fun of you. You write a note to your family and leave it outside your bedroom. You finally take your school tie and slowly walk up the stairs to your room. You can hear your mum, your dad, your family laughing and chatting downstairs. You feel alone and empty inside. You take your tie, and gulp as it tightens around your neck. This is your last goodbye...

People shouldn't have to feel this way.
Keep your comments to yourself. I know people who act as carelessly as this. It is wrong and absolutely disgusting.
Stop bullying.
National Suicide Awareness Day.
